About Sell Material Data to AI

The people behind this site read materials database licences, informatics platform terms and the chemicals regulations through their own document reader, keep each document they quote, and answer every materials data enquiry themselves.

The reason for this site

A materials archive is part measured data and part licensed reference data, and only the first can be sold. This site sets the vendors' clauses and the test-data rules side by side so that line is drawn before any price is discussed.

Who will find it useful

Materials suppliers, test laboratories and materials R&D teams with years of measured property data, formulations or structure data, who have been asked about it or are weighing a licence.

What you will find here

A quote form for one question, "sell material data to ai", that runs right on the page with no sign-up, 5 guides on related questions, a table of figures you are free to cite (see the data and how it was made), and the list of sources behind every number.

Where it stops

  • We do not score materials databases; a row is the vendor's clause and our short reading of it.
  • We do not ask for test reports, formulations or data files in the form.
  • We do not send your enquiry to any vendor on the board.

Who is responsible

Joseph Ellul-Turner, Director.

No materials database or informatics vendor paid to be on this board, and there are no affiliate links on this site. Each answer is our reading of a published document and is not legal advice about your own licence or dossier. How this site earns: when a materials company licenses its test data to a buyer we introduced, our fee is 12.5% of the deal, with a minimum, as its exclusive agent, or 10%, with a minimum, if its data joins a bundle or the pool, set out in writing beforehand; any fee a buyer pays us goes back to the seller as a credit.
